Virginia has a wonderful state park system. Along the James River in Surrey County is Chippokes Plantation State Park, a plantation site from the olden days of yore. This is a new painting in the “Hearts on Fire” series. The series depicts the passion in the hearts of God’s people, which is the love of Jesus Christ. This painting was a Christmas gift to my grandmother. Mawmaw was very proud of her family and poured a lot of love into each of us.
