This is an impression of a group of trees in a park near my office; I go there sometimes to sketch during lunch. This painting is a watercolor, 16″x12″ on 140-lb Arches cold-press paper.
My aim is to highlight the beauty of nature and the relationship between humanity, God, and His creation.
I am currently working in watercolor, gouache, and colored pencil on paper. I love the convenience and immediacy of these materials. Watercolor is usually spontaneous and unpredictable, colored pencil is controlled and detailed, and gouache can be either or both.
I also experiment with electronic art forms such as video and synthesizer music. Some of that work is shared here in addition to the drawings and paintings.
