These are videos of the patterns of color and light that form on the surface of a soap film. I recorded and edited the video this morning. The music, Coqui Spirits, is also on the music page of this blog.
My aim is to highlight the beauty of nature and the relationship between humanity, God, and His creation.
I am currently working in watercolor, gouache, and colored pencil on paper. I love the convenience and immediacy of these materials. Watercolor is usually spontaneous and unpredictable, colored pencil is controlled and detailed, and gouache can be either or both.
I also experiment with electronic art forms such as video and synthesizer music. Some of that work is shared here in addition to the drawings and paintings.
